Hello there ladies!
Since "tribal" got changed to "geometric" this year I thought I'd go all the way geometric and make Tetris nails! I'm actually happy about it not being mandatory tribal because I would most likely suck so bad at that!
To create this look I started with 2 coats of Dance Legend #1025 Grey Britain from Smoky collection and made some custom decals. These nails turned out pretty much as I planned them! Being a video game freak I'll be happy to wear them until tomorrow when I'll have to remove them for a new manicure :)

31DC2014 Day 15: Delicate Print - Black Lace Water Decals
Hello there ladies!
Today I have this black lace nail art to share with you!
I started with 3 coats of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure #140 Peachy Keen. This is my recent favourite nude shade, it's just so warm and pretty that I cant get enough of it! The formula is not flawless, you need to wait for each coat to 100% dry out or it can get bubbly, takes quite a bit to dry too, but in my opinion this polish is worth it :)
I used Milv water decals. It's just water decals, not much to tell about them, you just cut them out with manicure scissors, wet them and stick them to the nail!
I used 2 coats of Seche Vite to smooth everything out. This was my fist time using this legendary top coat, I got a tiny 0.125 fl oz bottle just today to try it out. I can say its drying capabilities are impressive but I'm not a big fan of it because it pulls the polish near cuticule and quite badly too. Can be a life saviour with some never-drying polishes though!
Thanks for reading and see you tomorrow!

31DC2014 Day 14: Flower - Sunset and Daisies
Hello there!
Had big plans for today's floral nail art but after several nailfails turned to simple daisies manicure.
The polishes I used:
To spice my daisies up a little bit I started with 2 coats of Essie #74 Tart Deco and made a gradient with Essie #27 Watermelon. Tart Deco is a wonderful shade that looks bleached orange in the bottle but leans more towards pink on the nail. Then i added a coat of Sally Hansen XtremeWear #180 Disco Ball because what a manicure would be without a sparkle?! :) Then I made simple daisies with dotting tool and OPI Alpine Snow and INM Out The Door #160 Amber. While the result might be not too original I like how neat and bright it turned out.

31DC2014 Day 13: Animal Print - Cow print nails
Hello there!
Fot today's animal print day I was going to do a good old leopart print nail art, but after trying several color combos I never came up with something cool and original that I would really like. So I gave it some thought and decided to try and do a cow print nail art!
I wanted to draw a cow on my accent nails, but I actually cant draw so I googled some cow nail arts and took Alice's from One Nail To Rule Them All as an example.
I started with 2 coats of OPI Alpine Snow (yes, I fanally managed to get away with 2 coats!). Now, have a mentionned I cant draw? So I thought I'd draw the cow right on my stamper and then stamp it onto the nail - it resolved couple of problems: first, I didnt have to draw with my non-dominant right hand and second, if I didnt like the result I could always erase it from the stamper and draw again without having to redo 2 coats of while polish and wait for it to dry. The cow turned out a little bit ugly but not as ugly as it could be i think! After that was done I made quick black spots using a dotting tool and Golden Rose Nail Art #106 which is a super opaque black. No top coat in the pictures, as I didnt have the patience for the spots to dry before I take pictures!

31DC2014 Day 12: Stripes - Cobalt blue with gold stipes
Hello there!
So I wore tihs blue polish yesterday and I loved it so much that i had to use it for my today's 31DC manicure!
As always I took a picture of polishes I used :)
Variete #438 is a gorgeous crelly cobalt blue polish (think along the Dior Sailor lines) but unlike Sailor it doesnt have microshimmer. I used two coats for full opacity and it looked exactly the same as in the bottle. Golden Rose Nail Art is a super cheap polish with a striping brush. I never thought that I'd come up with straight lines but this striping brush was so amazing that I didnt have any problems whatsoever even thought i made the lines with my non-dominant hand!
Thanks for reading and see you tomorrow with yet another manicure :)

31DC2014 Day 11: Polka Dots - Pink dotticure
Hello there ladies!
During the first week of 31DC2014 I missed using one of my favourite colours - pink! So I thought I'd go for it on a dotticure day!
Here are the polishes I used:
I started with 3 coats of Sally Hansen #520 Shrimply Devine and added dots of 3 sizes using Morgan Taylor #50004 I'm Charmed and Essie #27 Watermelon. For my accent nails I started with 3 coats of I'm Charmed and made gradient with all 3 polishes. I'm very happy with the result! The manicure turned out romantic and eye-catching :) Hope you like it and if you do, it's very easy to recreate!

31DC2014 Day 10: Gradient - Creme to shimmer
Hello there ladies!
For today's gradient nails I decided to try something that is new to me - a little mix of finishes. So instead of using contrasting colours for my gradient I used similar colours with different finishes - creme and shimmer.
And of course I couldnt stay away from sparkly accents :) The photos actually dont do this manicure justice - it looked much prettier and smoother is person. The polishes I used:
Attention! Despite being a pastel shade, Rimmel #500 Peppermint does stain nails!!!
I actually managed to catch gradient better under direct electric light:
And couple more pictures:

31DC2014 Day 09: Rainbow nails
Hello there!
Since this challenge started I've been waiting for an opportunity to do some less serious and more naive nail art and this is I think is a perfect time! My inspiration for this - these nail wraps from BornPretty store.
I dont think I've mentionned this before, but I'm left handed and I swatch my left hand, so any nail art involving free hand drawing done by me sucks! :) So I had to find a sneaky way around it. I painted the rainbows on a sheet of plastic using a fine nail art brush and a bunch of polishes (if you are interested in the polishes I used just let me know in the comments), then after it dried I applied a good coat of topcoat over that and let it dry for a night. On the next day I separated the rainbows from plastic sheet and cut them out of topcoat with manicure scissors. So I got my own hand made decals! Should have taken a picture of them for you but I was too excited I guess :)
I started with 3 coats of Models Own Blueberry Muffin nail polish and after that was dry applied a thin coat of clear polish so I could stick my decals to it. I removed extra pieces with clean up brush and acetone. Then I used a large dotting tool to make the clouds. All done! Was not as time consuming as I expected. Doesnt look as neat as I expected either haha. Next time I'm doing these decals I'm gonna try for a thinner coat of topcoat, because my decals came out too thick which made them harded to work with. Overall I'm pleased with the result.

31DC2014 Day 08: Metallic
Hello there!
I dont't have too much to tell you about today's manicure, as it is very simple, but I think it's still pretty and festive!
Here are the polishes I used:
Goldie But Goodie on my thumb, ring, and pinky, Gossip Over Gimlets on my index and middle. Both polishes are foils from fall 2013 Autumn Nights collection. Gossip Over Gimlets is a silver with some golden flakes and Goldie But Goodie is a slightly copper-toned gold. Valzer #2 is a mix of silver shimmer, micro black and silver glitters, small black glitters, small and medium hex holographis glitters in a clear base.

31DC2014 Day 07: B&W - Black cats and saran wrap
Hello there!
For today's B&W manicure I did some saran wrap manicure and used black cat water decals for my accent nails.
You can find an awesome saran wrap tutorial here. The polishes I used:
I started with 3 coats of O.P.I. Alpine Snow, then made saran wrap using all three polishes. Dance Legend Grey Britain is an awesome grey polish from Smoky collection, it has matte black micro shimmer which creates that smoky effect that I love. Sally Hansen Black Out is an a little bit jelly-ish black polish, the kind you wouldnt use for stamping. Then I applied my black cat water decals and finished with a coat of topcoat.
And couple of close-ups:
Thanks for reading and see you tomorrow! :)
